Who is Freddy or Fredri Couture?

 

On the rise to fashion prominency, Freddy 'Fredri Couture' Conway is taking both the advertising and fashion world by the reins and leading by example on where popular 'Weirdeaux' creativity is heading in the future. Born and raised on Chicago's south side Mr. Couture has always had an outstanding creative eye for art and fashion. With very little inspiration from his crumbling southwestern neighborhood at a young age he knew that his love for painting, drawing, and sketching would need to be both seen and heard with forceful action by all who loved things different and interesting.

 

At the age of 8, his skill of drawing impacted very few individuals to the point where it was a no brainer decision to continue what he loved most, to draw and create. Music also plays a main role for most of his creative ideas. He loves the idea of mixing the different sounds of music with what he puts on the runway or in print. Upon turning 14, and a freshman in high school, Freddy wanted to further pursue a career in Communications and Design. 

 

Graduating with a Bachelors of the Arts in Advertising from the Illinois Institute of Art Chicago, this helped more with the design process because he thought about using those skills to produce and manage his own ad and print campaigns without the idea of outsourcing another company. His career path was a good one to go into considering it all falls together.  

 

Starting his career 10 years ago, Fredri Couture has been climbing up the design ladder and does not look like it he's stopping anytime soon. The fashion and design house has collaborated with other creative Chicagoans such as Toya McClain, Spifster Sutton, PRSVR, Sheila Rashid, Chicago's Playground, Katie Kadan, Ends Wealth Corps, Sabrina Boyett Jewelry, FEEL Inc., COMPLEX2010, XCIV Apperal, and many many more. 

 

This 2014 he has decided to collaborate with all of his many colleagues, friends, and artists to further the aspect of the Midwestern creative pool.
